Meet Harry & Barbara Bolliger

Meet Harry & Barbara Bolliger

When Harry and Barbara Bolliger got the opportunity to purchase property on Williston Lake, they knew that it was just too beautiful not to share with others. The couple built the magnificent log cabin lodge using hand hewn pine logs to give it a natural look that would complement and blend into its outdoorsy, rustic surroundings. Its indoor spaces are as beautiful as its facade and designed to make guests feel welcome and at home and surrounded by nature even when indoors. Some of guests' favourite rooms include the greatroom and the restaurant, both inviting and relaxing.

The massive sun deck is another favourite hang out for guests and a popular place to sit and watch the lake and wait for wildlife to amble past. Wapiti elk, white-tailed deer, mule deer and even moose make frequent appearances, particularly in spring and summer time. Osprey and eagles like to soar above the lake and fetch the occasional meal from its waters.

The Bolligers have entertained guests from all over Canada as well as other parts of the world. The lodge is also a favourite temporary home for many out-of-town contractors when working in the area.
