Meet Sue Stark
Sue is so proud to call Hudson’s Hope her home for almost 55 years now, but she always says it feels like 10 days—that is really how much she loves it there. A big part of her life in Hudson’s Hope has been this incredible little shop, and for 26 years, she has been equally proud to be a Sugarplum. Recently, she thought maybe it’s time to retire from Sugarplums, but the shop has taken on a persona all its own; it’s more than a gift shop, and it certainly is much more than just her. She is grateful to understand that, and as an entrepreneur, she feels honored to be able to serve her community in this small way.
She “loves Hudson’s Hope” and is proud to be a part of the LOVE HUDSON’S HOPE branding—it epitomizes what her heart feels, so much so that she decided to rename her shop Love Sugarplums!
Sugarplums has always filled her heart with joy; she loves helping her customers in any way she can and especially enjoys putting together something special for someone special. She takes pride in remembering favorite chocolates and what customers might have had their eye on. Sugarplums even has a wish book that is checked out every Christmas by Santa’s elves, just in case there is something even Santa may have forgotten. She hopes you will find your way into her little shop soon so she can share some Sugarplum love with you … LOVE SUGARPLUMS xO.
